Tips for studying a book of the Bible

Before I study any book in the Bible, I like to know to get a basic understanding of what I’m getting myself into 😉😂

With Esther, you might be like me … maybe you’ve read it before, heard it taught, read a book or did another Bible study, etc!

Maybe you think (like me) … what else is there to learn?

Well as it turns out … actually there’s A LOT!

(I love how the Bible is like a scavenger hunt where you learn something new each time … whether about God, His people, others, yourself. We just have to be willing to take the time!

So, what are they? … BOOK STUDY tips!

Here are a few things, I like to look at when studying a book of the Bible:

📖Who (possibly) wrote it?
📖Where did it take place?
📖When did the events take place in history?
📖Who are some of the key people?
📖What kind of book is it?
📖Who was the book written to?
📖What was the purpose in sharing the story of Esther?

And these are just a few questions!

Here's a look inside my Esther Bible Study Journal ...

If you don’t have my Esther study but want to check it out, email me! I’ll share a PDF of the “book of Esther” study pages with you to get you started!

P.S. If you don't have a helper pup to hold your pages, I highly recommend it! Check out Chuck!
