A few years ago I decided to create a little Bible study journal that my discipleship group ladies could use as we studied the Bible together. I wanted for us to practice the habit of spending time DAILY in God’s word, then we would meet to share what we learned with each other. I called it “SOAP-ing together”. We used the acronym “S.O.A.P.” -

- in reading a book of the Bible together! I shared questions and prompts to guide them through each section of S.O.A.P. to get them thinking more deeply about what they were reading. It was nothing revolutionary (After all, I hadn’t created the acronym; I just built on it!). I just wanted to give them something simple and approachable to guide them into doing MORE than just reading their Bibles, encouraging them to truly ENGAGE with God’s word! We started by SOAP-ing the book of Esther together. (This was the inspiration for my 2nd Bible study journal released in 2024!)
Why share all of this? I wanted you to know the reason behind the journals!
To me, they’re more than just journals ... These journals are places to study, pour our hearts out, pray, learn and grow. These journals are places for God to speak to us, convict us, guide us, teach us. These journals are places to come to genuinely know God and His word in new, unique and personal ways.
And I’m sharing the journals here, in one place, to give you options. We’re committed to keeping these journals affordable without sacrificing quality. We searched for ways to offer both paperback and coil bound. We wanted to make these journals available for both the individual studying the Bible on their own and for church small groups discipling one another. Whether you’re studying on your own or in a group, we hope these journals become a valuable resource for your journey.
The goal for this blog and store is for you to find new ways of engaging with God and His word, encouraging you to do more than just read your Bible! We plan to continue using this blog site and store to connect with you and share news, new products and encouragement too. We’ll be sharing monthly blog posts sharing Bible study tips, freebies, information and also offering giveaways, too! A quick note on the part of this that I don't like... the price/costs. Like a lot of things in life, there are trade-offs. I'm proud that I'm able to create these and sell them for a very reasonable price on Amazon. This allows for quick delivery as well, as we all know Amazon is every where. The trade-off is that there are limited options. I've had a lot of people ask me about getting the journals spiral bound and/or in different sizes. With this website we are able to offer more options, but the production costs are more expensive and the shipping times will be slower. We’ll keep working to bring you more of the options you love, while doing our best to keep both costs and delivery times reasonable.
